5 Ways to Make Money Coding


            You can ofcouse get a Job and make money Coding . But what if you couldn't get a Job or you don't want to get a Job . There are ways you can still earn money at your comfort . Lets see the Top 5 ways you can fill your pockets doing your passion . 



5 . Freelancing :




            Yes , it is the most Obvious way to make cash with Coding . You don't have to be a pro to sell your service , there could be people who needed small scripts for their projects or an hour of mentoring . Getting the first few orders will be the most difficult job. But after that everything will get in flow . 


4 . Bug Bounty :



            This is a way where developers can receive recognition and compensation for reporting bugs , especially reagarding security exploits . To maintain their reputation huge companies pay the person who found the bug as a reward . This way of making money mostly stays as a secret as ethical hackers don't want it to become competitive and also for the companies reputation. 


Few BugBounty Rewards Are :

  • Facebook awarded Andrew Leonov with $40,000 for discovering a flaw in a 3rd party security.
  • Google awarded Ezequiel Pereira with $36,000 for discovering a Remote Code Execution bug.



3 . Local Projects / Apps :



           Local Projects include creating a website or app or any automation service to the local businesses . I would advice on first creating something and then demanding the money as it would make you more trustable . Or you can create your own App that would make you an independent developer and eventually an Entrepreneur .


2 . Open Source Projects / Plugins :


              If you do programming as a hobby and want to make it a passive income you can upload a lot of Open Source Projects and get Sponserships and Donations . Or you can create free Themes , Plugins for WordPress and sell them to make cash.

This will not gurantee any money as it depends on the value your project provides and people who decide to donate or get your plugin. That is why it is important to gain a social presence .


1 . Social Media Presence :

             This is the way that can provide you Passive income , pursue your passion and also can help you in anything you want to do . 

Social Media may include :

  • YouTube
  • Instagram
  • Blogging
YouTube :  Not necessarily you have to create videos of Tutorials , You can make videos on cool stuffs you can do with coding or anything that you enjoy doing . Only when you enjoy what you do viewers too can . 



Instagram :  Instagram is not considered as a huge opportunity for coding , but is it not completely true . It is fairly easy to gain followers on instagram whom you can shift into other platforms .





Blogging :  Many Software devs follow blogs . Especially Medium , you can earn potentially a lot more than YouTube for the same amount of views .
